Club Training Shoot – Sunday 1st June 2014
As part of our ongoing training, the club will be holding our third training day on Sunday 1st June, 2014 from 2:30pm – 6pm.
This free event is open to all current club members, and full training & coaching will be given to members on the course of fire and competition etiquette. This is designed to be a fun event, to introduce or to improve your competition skills in a non competitive environment.
Following NASRPC rules, we will be Shooting the following events:
GP40 (Gallery Pistol 40)
This Discipline is deliberately designed to only require 5 rounds per string in order to cater for those with an un-restricted licence for their rimfire pistol, and may therefore have difficulty competing in Timed & Precision Events where there are 6-shot strings.
- This event takes approximately 30 minutes to complete
- It requires 40 rounds
- The maximum possible score is 400
Timed & Precision 1
- This event takes approximately 30 minutes to complete
- It requires 30 rounds
- The maximum possible score is 300
Match 5
Part of the much longer WA1500 competition, this practice enables shooters to practice moving through different positions.
- This event takes approximately 45 minutes to complete
- It requires 60 rounds
- The maximum possible score is 600

10 Metres, 30 seconds, 12 shots (NOTE: 20 seconds for rimfire)

25 metres, 90 seconds
6 shots kneeling
6 shots standing, left shoulder
6 shots standing, right shoulder

50 metres, 165 seconds

Practice 4 – 6 shots

25 metres, 12 seconds, 6 shots.
