The WA1500 association of Ireland will be holding a WA1500 Sanctioned match at Munster Target Shooting Club on Saturday, 10th July. These are Open competitions, but please ensure that you have insurance and firearms certificates available for inspection by RSOs on the day. We had a great turnout for our annual BBQ and Tom O’Dea memorial shoot. Some fantastic shooting on the day, some even more fantastic stories about why certain members didn’t win, we all had a great day, with plenty of craic, good food and some shooting. Hi all, We had a fantastic (albeit rather wet) day today at our club training day. John briefed us on the requirements all club members must be aware of, with regards to child safety. We then moved to the range, and undertook a refresher on firearms safety, including requirements whilst travelling to the range, how to clear different types of firearms, and finally an overview of common competition procedures being covered. NASRPC visited MTSC on the 11-12th May 2019 for a National competition. Sunglasses and factor 50 were required for the 2 days of beautiful summer like weather.
